| Gram steamed this pudding in large soup and shortening cans, or quart wide mouth canning jars, on the stovetop in a canning pot.She fitted aluminum foil over the top of each jar in a half dome, so the water would drip off the tops as it steamed. She served it with hot hard sauce or rum sauce. It also cooks well in antique metal molds and presents very nicely on a footed plate. |
